As a Southern Baptist congregation, our beliefs are grounded in Scripture and expressed through our historic confession of faith.
We believe the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God's revelation of Himself to humanity. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction, totally without any mixture of error, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried.
There is one and only one living and true God — an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. He exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit: three persons of one substance, power, and eternity.
Christ is the eternal Son of God. In His incarnation as Jesus of Nazareth, He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He honored the divine law by His personal obedience, atoned for our sins by His death, was raised from the dead, and ascended to heaven where He reigns forever.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine. He exalts Christ, convicts people of sin, regenerates sinners, and indwells believers. He illumines and guides believers in understanding God's Word and empowers them for service.
Salvation involves the redemption of the whole person and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. Regeneration, or the new birth, is a work of God's grace.
A New Testament church is an autonomous local congregation of baptized believers, associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel, observing the two ordinances of Christ — baptism and the Lord's Supper.
Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water as a public profession of faith in the crucified, buried, and risen Savior. The Lord's Supper is a symbolic act of obedience by which members of the church commemorate Christ's death until He comes.
God, in His own time and in His own way, will bring the world to its appropriate end. Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly. The dead will be resurrected, and Christ will judge all people in righteousness. The unrighteous will be consigned to eternal separation from God; the righteous will receive their reward.
Salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. Here's what that means.
Acknowledge that you are a sinner in need of God's grace. All have sinned and fall short of God's glory (Romans 3:23).
Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose from the dead, conquering sin and death on your behalf (Romans 10:9–10).
Confess Jesus Christ as Lord of your life and surrender your will to His. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
